This position is designed for an early-career clinician who is looking for the opportunity to develop their clinical identity while receiving ongoing supervision, mentorship, and support within a collaborative private practice environment.
The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, navigate emotional challenges, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Position Responsibilities
The MHC-LP Therapist will:
Provide individual psychotherapy services through secure telehealth
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Complete treatment planning and progress notes
Collaborate with the clinical supervisor regarding client care
Participate in individual and group supervision
Attend required clinical trainings and team meetings
Maintain ethical and professional standards consistent with New York State regulations
Engage in continued professional growth and reflective practice
Opportunities may also become available for clinicians interested in:

Developing specialized clinical programs
Participating in clinical trainings
Supporting graduate-level trainees
Compensation Structure
This position is a part-time W-2 employee position.
Compensation is structured around completed clinical services:
Individual Therapy Sessions:
$50/per completed session
Group Therapy Opportunities:
*Additional compensation available for clinicians interested in facilitating therapy groups.
As clinicians develop within the practice and demonstrate consistency, reliability, and strong clinical work, opportunities for increased responsibilities and professional growth may become available.
Schedule & Caseload Expectations
This position offers scheduling flexibility while maintaining consistent availability for clients.
Expected initial caseload:
Approximately 8–10 clients per week
Clinicians may gradually build their caseload based on:
Availability
Client referrals
Clinical interests
Practice needs
We recognize that sustainable clinical work requires balance. Our goal is to support clinicians in developing a manageable and fulfilling caseload.
Qualifications
Required:
Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or related counseling field
Active New York State Mental Health Counselor Limited Permit (MHC-LP)
Eligibility to practice under appropriate clinical supervision
Strong commitment to ethical and culturally responsive care
Ability to complete timely clinical documentation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
Experience providing psychotherapy services
Interest in relational and integrative therapy approaches
Familiarity with CBT, EFT, IFS, psychodynamic, or attachment-based approaches
Interest in working with adolescents and/or adults
Desire to grow within a collaborative private practice environment
