Where feelings come first

Where feelings come first

Our Process

  • Geometric drawing of an outline square with sections divided by vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines.

    Shared Beginning

The process begins with a joint session where both partners meet together. This session focuses on understanding the relationship as a whole, including shared goals, current challenges, and the patterns shaping the dynamic between partners.

    Individual Perspectives

Each partner then meets individually for a private session. This allows space to explore personal experiences, relational history, and internal patterns that may be influencing the relationship.

    Returning to the Relationship

After the initial intake phase, sessions continue jointly. The work then focuses on strengthening communication, deepening emotional understanding, and supporting the relationship in moving toward its goals.

What Sets Feelings First Apart:

A clear, structured approach so you always know what to expect.
There is no guessing or confusion here. From the beginning, therapy follows a thoughtful and organized process so you feel grounded in what is happening and why each step matters.

A “feelings first” approach that goes beneath the surface.
We don’t only focus on surface-level concerns we work to understand what your emotional experience is communicating underneath the problem. This helps bring clarity to what you’re feeling and why it may be showing up in your life.

A focus on relationships and attachment.
We explore how you connect with others, how you cope in relationships, and how early and current relational patterns may be shaping your emotional experiences today.

Designed for people who are new to therapy or looking for something grounded.
Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning after time away, the process is intentionally paced to feel accessible, non-intimidating, and supportive.
