🗓️ Day & Time: Wednesdays at 7:00 PM
💻 Format: Virtual therapy group conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform
📍 Location: Available to individuals located throughout New York State
🌱 Age Range: Adults ages 21–35
Length: 12 weekly sessions
🕒 Session Duration: 90 minutes per session
👥 Group Size: Limited to 6–8 participants to support connection, emotional safety, and meaningful discussion
💛 Cost: $50 per session

Through an attachment-based and compassion-focused approach, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop a deeper understanding of their emotional experiences

  • Explore childhood experiences and unmet emotional needs

  • Identify patterns that may impact relationships and self-worth

  • Practice self-compassion and emotional awareness

  • Learn how to create a more secure and supportive relationship with themselves

This group will include therapeutic discussion, guided reflection, experiential activities, and opportunities for connection with others who are engaging in their own healing journey.

Meet Your Group Facilitator

Jasmine Jackson, M.S.Ed., LMHC

Becoming Your Own Safe Place will be facilitated by Jasmine Jackson, M.S.Ed., LMHC founder of Feelings First Counseling.

Jasmine is a Mental Health Counselor who specializes in helping individuals explore the connection between their past experiences, emotional patterns, relationships, and sense of self. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in attachment-based, relational, and evidence-informed practices that emphasize self-compassion, emotional awareness, and meaningful growth.

As the facilitator of this group, Jasmine will provide a supportive and confidential environment where participants can explore their stories, connect with others, and begin the process of becoming their own source of compassion, understanding, and security.
